Deck & porch questions

Serving Lynn, Peabody, Salem, Saugus, Revere and the rest of the North Shore.

How much does a new deck cost?

It depends on size, height, material and railings. Pressure-treated wood costs least up front, composite more, hardwood the most. After a quick walkthrough you’ll get an itemized estimate in writing, so you can compare options.

Can you repair my deck or porch instead of replacing it?

Often, yes. If the framing is sound we can replace boards, railings and stairs, or resurface in composite. If the structure is rotted, we’ll show you why a rebuild is safer.

Do I need a permit?

Most new decks and structural porch work need a building permit in Massachusetts. We file it and schedule the inspections.

Which towns do you serve?

Lynn, Peabody, Salem, Saugus, Revere and the rest of the North Shore and Greater Boston.
